Ethel Hosendorf was appointed principal at T.C. Martin Elementary School in 2023. Prior to this principal appointment, she served as an assistant principal at Theodore G. Davis and John Hanson middle schools for five years and as administrative intern at North Point High School.
A native of the empire state — specifically Brooklyn, New York, Hosendorf began her teaching career with Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) as a substitute teacher. She was then hired to teach financial literacy and business education courses at North Point where she taught for 10 years.
Hosendorf has a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and banking from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree in Management from the Keller Graduate School in Management, NY.
As T.C. Martin's principal, Hosendorf is focused on empowering students and staff to create dynamic learning environments that will ignite the culture, confidence and character needed for students to access their full potential and future opportunities. She is also committed to leading her school community through empathy, equity and enrichment.
