Charles County Department of Health, and the Maryland Center for School Safety, will host the
FACE Safe Schools, Strong Communities event at North Point High School from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
This community event reinforces the school system’s commitment to school safety and
meaningful family and community engagement. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn,
connect, and collaborate with local and regional partners dedicated to creating safe, supportive, and thriving learning
environments for all students. Learning sessions will be offered for both adults and students, providing opportunities for
everyone to learn and engage.

Did you know? 💡 The Dr. Chinnadurai Devadason School Based Health Center is open, with services available for Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) students. The center is located on the Indian Head Elementary School campus, but all CCPS students are eligible to receive services.

CCPS is hosting a bus hotline prior to the start of school on Aug. 20-21. This information will also be posted to School Locator. CCPS will update the platforms as bus route information is added and finalized. CCPS will begin to load bus information into ParentVue/StudentVue the week of Aug. 17. Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) has a new mobile app that features push notification alerts, translated content based on the user’s preferred language and access to the new two-way parent communication tool called Rooms (launching the week of Aug. 17).
